You are new in Germany? Many things seem to be strange to you? On monday, 9th october we’d like to invite you to discover the German culture with us. Starting at 6.30 pm there will be some German food served and we prepare an exciting program about ‘typical german’. We’re looking forward to meet you! 🙂
Unfortunately we cannot provide a program especially for internationals this semester. But you are very welcomed to our regulary events.
We have the possibility for an english translation!
On our first countryevening we want to discover China. Are chinese letter really that difficult to learn? Which attractions are there beside the chinese wall? How do the chinese people do their traditional tea ceremony? That are just a few of the questions we want to figure out about the mentality, culture and traditions. Of course we will taste some typically chinese food – if you got some chopsticks, you can bring them with you. We´re looking forward to see you! 🙂

On two evenings, we want to discover the german culture with you.
On tuesday, 18th october the motto is: ‘Cultural shock?!’ and on wednesday, 19th october we want to find out, what is ‘typical german?’. Both evenings start at 6.30 pm.
Internationals and german students prepared an exciting program for you. We´re looking forward to meet you! 🙂
DISCOVER is an SMD- event, especially for international students, who want to improve their german skills.
We want to train german pronunciation, speaking and do grammatical exercises with you.
Every discover-event has an upper topic and gives you the opportunity to speak about your thoughts. Also we want to read some bible passages and discuss about them. This week our topic will be: “the 2nd chance”.
We also invite you to have some time for talking to friends, have coffee- or teatime and eat some snacks. Maybe you already know some other students, but discover will be a good place to meet other students. We are looking forward to see you! 🙂
Discover starts every second monday at 4pm and lasts until approx. 6pm.
